Gruppo Riello Sistemi opens North American office
Gruppo Riello Sistemi started 2006 with a new beachhead in North America. The manufacturer of horizontal machining centers and special-application machinery acquired Tri-Way Manufacturing Technologies Corp. of Windsor, Canada.
Verona-based Gruppo Riello Sistemi said the acquisition means the company can fully serve North American clients and is part of a larger global expansion plan that was started in 1992. North America currently accounts for 10% of the company’s sales.
Tri-Way had a long history of serving the auto industry out of Windsor, which is across the river from Detroit. For more information, visit www.riellosistemi.it.
